Bases Loaded was founded in 2010 by former Major League pitcher and current St. Michael’s College Head Coach, Jim Neidlinger. Over the past 13 years, Bases Loaded has grown exponentially, and the success of its student-athletes is a direct reflection of their dedication and the extensive knowledge of the longest-tenured instructional staff in the state.
In 2017, Bases Loaded was recognized as one of the Top 25 training facilities in the United States, and in 2019, it earned the Best of Williston Business Award.
As the game of baseball and softball has evolved, so has the way athletes train. Bases Loaded instructors have continuously adapted by incorporating advanced technology and data-driven metrics, including the Rapsodo hitting and pitching systems, while maintaining a strong emphasis on the fundamental skills every player needs to succeed.
Also in 2017, Bases Loaded launched its premier travel baseball program, the Bases Loaded Bulldogs. Since its inception, the Bulldogs have become the most successful travel baseball organization in Vermont, competing in—and earning the respect of—the top tournaments throughout New England.
Bases Loaded continues to develop high-level players because its instructors and coaches have competed at elite collegiate and professional levels and are committed to ongoing growth within the game. By working collaboratively and sharing knowledge, the staff ensures that every student-athlete receives the highest level of instruction and development.
